As residents will be aware Greenway is once again closed so that Anglian Water can repair the main stage sewer pipe. The information that the Parish Council was given on Friday night was as follows:
Greenway will be closed for between three to four weeks while the damaged pipe work is replaced. However, there is a second part of the sewerage system that is damaged which is on the other side of the A507; the extent of the damage is still unclear and there is no time scale for repairing this at present. A bypass pipe is being installed to maintain flow past the damaged area.
