In recent weeks the Parish Council has taken the decision to discontinue the Community Support Helpline that was setup early in the pandemic. This decision has been taken partly as result of COVID-19 restrictions being lifted and follows consultation with the local volunteers that have monitored the helpline telephone numbers over the last year or so. We are really fortunate to live in a parish where neighbours look out for each other, and as a result it seems, the service has been seldom used.
A similar service is supported by Central Bedfordshire Council and should residents find themselves required to self-isolate, and in need to assistance with essential food shopping or collection of medication please note the availability of this service.
